Food: Average Service: Above average servers, kitchen is usually very slow Atmosphere: Loud, crowded, lower SES clients Conclusion: Its one of the only places thats open till 2am in that area & the food is cheap & not bad so I end up going a good bit even though the crowd can be frustrating.

UGH! This place has gone sooo downhill or either I used to be so drunk when I'd wind up there that I don't remember it being this bad. I remember this place being pretty decent but I went here last week with my daughter and was blown away at how nasty the place was. We were greeted by hostesses right away when we walked in at 12:20 for lunch. There was hardly anyone in there which should have been my first sign to run, but we got seated and I ordered the new pretzel rods and beer cheese, The pretzels were pretty decent, but you could tell they were just frozen ones heated up and the beer cheese had a skin that showed it had come straight from the microwave. I also ordered a chicken ciabatta sandwich and fries. Well the sandwich came out on what looked like a dirty plate and I had maybe 10 fries next to it. I took one bite of my sandwich and didn't care to have another. The chicken was so rubbery I didn't even finish the whole bite I took. Probably the saddest part of my whole visit was the fact that my waitress nor the manager who stopped to see how the food was, noticed the whole sandwich sitting on the plate with my napkin over the fries. I paid for my horrible lunch and then went to change my daughter in the restroom and almost fell with my child in my arms because the floor was so greasy and dirty. I will never go there again and if I could give less than 1 star I would.

Went to this store May 8, 2014. The server we had (Amanda) was great! Super nice, very attentive, couldn't have asked for more. But the food was awful. French fries that were a combination of under cooked and over cooked, cold mashed potatoes, and a burnt steak were all part of the disaster that was our meal. Having a bad meal isn't the worst thing that ever happened, but the manager, who kept making eye contact with the person I was eating with and I, could blatantly see how disgusted we were and avoided us, going so far as to sit at the bar talking to other guests besides us. Finally, after politely suffering through 2/3 of our meal, we had to ask for her, and the great manager Tammy got up from her seat at the bar to hear our complaint, and then gave us a lecture about how we should have asked for her sooner. She then begrudgingly handed us a coupon to come back, which we did not take. I cannot believe how rude she was. The only reason this review got 1 star and not 0 is because of our very polite server.

I just order curbside to go from this place. They said 15 mins. I wait 10 mins and drive 5 mins there, so 15 mins. Then I sit and wait for 30 mins. I went inside so my son could go to the bathroom. Thank goodness I didn't eat inside. There were chairs scattered throughout the aisles and the bathroom looked and smelled like it could gag a maggot. I gave them one star because it was the lowest I could go to write a review, however would have gone lower if I could.. I try not to be to critical of restaurant reviews, but you could tell that the employees at this establishment simply didn't care. Now to the food. Obviously all of my entrees had been sitting in the window for probably 30 mins. Chicken isn't supposed to be dry and inedible. I'll try to attach a picture.

This is the Applebees that we usually go to in North Charleston, I have to say that the service has improved a lot, the food is good my personal favorite is the "Fiesta Lime Chicken" and if your looking to just have some drinks you can go there too and watch some sports on the many tvs they have.

If I could give them a half a star, I would've. This place sucks!! Their food, drinks, and service from the waitress we had sucked! It took us 15 mins from the time we sat down just to get our drinks..then when they finally came to the table, it was terrible (strawberry lemonade). I asked my waitress to change it out and to bring me a sweet tea. When my sweet tea I ordered got to the table, you would've thought I ordered a unsweetened tea. I paid $30 for a meal for me and my husband that was worth $5. We could've just went to McDonalds and we don't even like McDonalds. I'll never come here again. Btw: if you're planning to go on weekends (fri & sat) during their half off appetizers, make sure you go at 10 pm not 9 pm which wasn't an issue for us.

Now we understand why this place has some low rating. Don't come to this place, under staff and service takes for ever. If you come with kids they hold you up. Never coming back.

Saturday around 1 pm, I went ahead in this location to meet up with someone. I went to the bar and ordered a beer. After a split second I noticed a sour smell that would not go away. I then noticed how unsanitary and bad of shape the area was in behind the bar. There were dirty dishes sitting on the end of the bar for over thirty minutes from where the bartender had cleared a table and sat the dishes at the end of the bar. The shelf of the three compartment sink had so many dirty glasses and containers on it the the bartender decided to pile up even more dirty glassware into the small hand sink as well. Which brings my to my favorite part, there was a ladle that had its handle hanging out of the sink that she then hung a spray bottle on. How free king lazy can we get. Also, she had a huge purse that was clearly visible to the guest and was wide open so guests could see right into it. When she grabbed a lime to garnish a drink, she used her non gloved hand, bypassing the tongs that were in the bin with the limes, very unprofessional and unsanitary. And all of this was going on while a manager was present, he even walked behind the bar while I was there and didn't say anything about the condition of the area. Two very complacent people the do not deserve to work in food and beverage. I will never go to that Applebee's location again.

Promptly seated at a high top in the bar and was told that a server would be by to take or drink order. After 10 minutes looking at the unbused table, my wife and I left. We went to los Reyes down the street where we were seated, had our drinks and nachos in 5 minutes.

Honestly i dont like this place. Had alot of bad memories from bad service to horrible dates. Got a gift card to applebees so had no choice. Tried their lunch menu and oh my gosh very small portions. I still left hungry. Meal was 7.99. Then it took about 15mins to 20 mins before food would come out. The food tasted just alright. Not my kind of place at all

Okay so I don't know what everyone else was saying about service- EVERYONE, from the host to our server and even other servers were incredibly nice and funny. And if you are complaining about food quality AT AN APPLEBEES- then you're an idiot.

My husband and I brought our two kids here for lunch today. Our waitress was horrible! Savanah clearly only addressed my husband and acted like I wasn't even there. The food was ok at best. Prices are ok but the food was not up to par. I try not to be to critical of servers because I am a waitress myself, but this girl was over and above awful. We were also talking about dessert when she finally returned to our table and she just have my husband the bill and told him, not us, to have a wonderful day. Needless to say, we took the kids elsewhere for dessert and will not be returning again. On the way out, I did ask to speak with a manager and was told the manager was too busy. Horrible service, iffy food, and no manager.

Doesn't even deserve the one star rating. Have come here several times trying to see if it would get any better but it never does. The management always short staffs the kitchen, even late at night. It is never that packed inside and yet it still takes over an hour to get your food. The waitresses are the only plus side to this dilapidated establishment. Would definitely not recommend. Be prepared for disappointment.

Slow service, insects all over the tables inside, and they seemed to have no stock of quite a few menu items. Not much else to say, except for stay away.

I went here with my fiance a week ago. Was Sat right away. After sitting for fifteen minutes I asked to host to move to a different table where we had a server that would actually come to us. She said nothing, walked off to find our server. Another five min and he came. no greeting just asked what we were drinking. we both ordered beer. Another 15 min and we finanlly got our beer...and it was flat. He immediately left and I said screw this and we left. I told the hostess we waited thirty min for drinks and she said oh ok. Wtf.

I had an excellent experience at Applebees. My meal was priced well for all of what alI I ordered. I tried the all american burger after I was disappointed about them no longer serving the blue burger any more. The all american burger was a little on the dry side so I had to add a little Ketchup to help add a little juicy ness other than that it was excellent. The mixed drink called the Perfect WAS perfect! Nicely done. And the waiter Dominic wanted nothing else but to make sure his customer (me) was happy. I had a good time for lunch here. Hope everyone has the same experience as I did.

Possibly the worst service I've ever received. I typically am not critical of waiters because I have been one before, but in the end I was very dissatisfied with the service we received here. The waitress seemed to appear that she was on some sort of "substance", and hit on my boyfriend (while we were clearly on a date) by asking him to join her for a drink on the bill, as well as giving him flirtacious looks all night. Our food was horrible, unlike our usual experience with the company. Welike the occasional Applebee's visit, but we won't be eating at this location again, and I would strongly suggest to others that you choose another Applebee's as well!
